Macromedia Breeze crashes

I’ve installed Macromedia Breeze – a PowerPoint plugin. Every time I try and record audio it crashes the computer – or the computer freezes. Then i get the message from Microsoft saying that powerpoint has had a fatal error and that the program will close. I’m running Office 2003 and windows XP on a Toshiba Satellite laptop.

Has anyone else run in to this problem – or are there any known incompatibilities with other software programs?
