MACROMEDIA WINDOWS DRAW

Still using this super great software on windows me for publishing, Have come across a new happening (after 6 years plus of use)…a 12 page document “disappeared”! on tapping the spacebar to remove the screensaver, the new view still had the document name (rb3.drw) at the top-the page format had gone to single page & there was nothing. the document appears by name everywhere but is blank, no, it did not go to recycle.
I used to know a msdos way of going in for history—forgot it tho’ is this document still alive inside somewhere for resurrection ?
