I’m having a big problem with mail relaying through my Exchange 2000 server 🙁
My server is black-listed by anti-spaming groups, so I can’t send mail to a lot of domains. Plus the ammount of spam mail that goes through my server is huge. So how todisable mail relaying in the following situation:
I have users traveling around the world, so blocking by IP or range is not an option. They all use POP and SMTP through Outlook Express. I also can’t allow to send only to listed domains, couse I’d have to enter domains like yahoo and hotmail that spammers use too.
If I enable basic authentication on SMTP, ordb.org still says that my server is an open relay. So how do I fix this? I have also created an SMTP connector to my virtual server and specified that only mail to my domain can pass. But for some reason that didn’t help either.
Please help,
Victor
