I have a user who was originally running Office 97 on Windows NT 4.0 SP6a, she had issues where all her documents margins got shifted to the right by about two inches you change them close the document and open it again and it is back again. I reinstalled Word and it was fine for a month or two then came back. Uninstalled and reinstalled all of Office, again fine for a month or two then returned. Going thru Tech Net I found some stuff vaguely related and it mentioned about replacing the normal.dot file from a good machine, which I did and again it solved the problem only for a short time then came back. Upgraded the machine to Windows 2000 and Office 2000 completely wiping away her old machine and installing a fresh clean image, and guess what she was fine for a little while then bang same problem back again. Over this period of time over 6 months this problem has spread to a number of other user’s. Not allot of users but a couple but they would all be sharing and looking at each others document’s while there are also user’s who are sharing documents with them that are fine.
Any ideas please let me know
