MaxRecords Property in Access Data Project

I have an Access Data Project (.adp) connected to a SQL Server. When executing queries, does setting the .adp’s MAXRECORDS property to show all records more efficient that setting a value to return only a number of records?

The problem is when showing only a number of records not all of data are not shown.
