Microsoft Outlook Email Recovery

Fellow IT tech deleted account name from active directory,yes,tis sad,but true.When he added that same name again,the personal folders..ie,contacts,address book,notes,etc,were gone!!!!!! We have imported everything we can think of to recover,however,we have not been successful.I think the data from the old profile is still on the harddrive,we just can’t see it(no pointer associated with it).Has anyone ever run into this problem,and,if so,what might the solution be.
