Microsoft Visual Basic

When I open MS Excel and attempt to type information in the Spreadsheet, a Microsoft Visual Basic message pops up on the screen and it makes a beeping sound when clicking any where on the screen. Another message that comes up when opening the ExcelApplication is, “This document was opened with macros and a message of disable or enable the macros comes up.”

HELP Please…what, if anything do I do about the Microsoft Visual Basic issue? Thanks so much for any assistance that can be providedto this matter.
