Microsoft Word 2000

I have been experiencing a large number of occurences of the following:

Application error: Winword.Exe
“The instruction at “0x308f26ac” referenced memory at “0x00000000”. The memory could not be “read”.

The instruction number varies betweenoccurences. I have searched Microsoft’s website and none of their solutions have helped. So if anyone knows of another possible fix for this, please let me know.
