Monitoring the Exchange Pop Server

Hi all,

I maintain an Exchange server 2003 for a client who has several users with POP3 accounts. So I have set up the POP3 Virtual Server for them.

All is well, but at various times, especially after a reboot, I have found that the Virtual Server has not started. I go in and manually start it and all is well again.

I have a program ServersAlive that monitors services and set it to restart the POP3 service, but that seems to be different from the Virtual Server. Does anyone know what I can monitor to determine whether the POP3 Virtual Server is not running?
