MS Access Application Error Messages

I have a MS Access Database Application running on SQL Server and use Crystal Reports. When I call the report from a Report Form, the system produces the following message: “THE _EXPRESSION AFTER THE UPDATING THAT YOU HAVE INSERTED AS THE DEFINITION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE EVENT HAS PRODUCED THE FOLLOWING ERROR: INCORRECT TYPE” And after I click OK, it requires me to enter parameter ansd I accept the default parameters. Then it produces another message: “Error # 20534 detected by database dll.” This database works on all my machines I have installed it properly until now when I have installed it on computers with portuguese version of OS and MS Office. I have installed the SQL Server as well as Crystal Report Runtime. Now could the language change have an effect on the running of this database?
