MS Office file access history

Is there a way I can see a hitory/log of what office documnets were opened and when or when a certain document was opened. I’m trying to determine if someone accessed some of my word/excel files while they were using my computer (win XP Pro, Office 2002) Some files that I haven’t opened in a while showed up in
my “recent documnets” and i want to get more details. I Looked at the “date accessed” column in win explorer but just clicking on it updated the date accesses time to current time.
