MS Office logout issue

We have a bug that appears intermittently on our computers whereby if a user tries to copy text or sometimes open or save a document they are immediately logged off. A reinstall of MS Office generally fixes the problem but it would be nice to be able to prevent it. We run MS Office 2000 SP3 on NT4 SP6 and Win2K SP3 (problem occurs on both operating systems).
