MS Outlook Crashes

I had this error message and issue after uninstalling “hotbar”.
In Outlook 2000, cannot open, reply, fwd etc any message. Outlook 2000 opens ok, but when I try to open the message or any other action gets error that “OUTLOOK.exe Has Generated Errors and Will Be Closed by Windows.” Outlook closes. Have tried everything in the Microsoft Knowledge base to include new profile, pst, disabling addin’s, un-installing & reinstalling MS Outlook. No effect.
Also when navigating the Tools >> Options >>> Mail Format got the same error message.
