MS Outlook Logon problem

I Recently began having a log on problem when using MS outlook 2002 to retrive my email from Hotmail. I have gone so far as to re-install office XP and set up the email profiles anew. I know my account and password is correct cause I can log in directly to MSN’s hotmail link. But when I try to retrive mail with Outlook I get a repeating log on box propting for the user name and password. Any ideas? Thanks!
