MS Proxy Caching only + POP3

Hello,

I do have a MS Proxy 2 on NT4 as a ‘caching only’ server. I can not get POP3 working using Outlook 2000 (internet mail). Web traffic is running perfect. Telnetting a pop account from the proxy works good.

I have checked the mspclnt.ini file:

[explorer]
Disable=0
[outlook]
Disable=0
[mapisp32]
Disable=0

I have read the tips and faqs on http://proxyfaq.networkgods.com and the support.microsoft.com.

I’m stuck here…
