MS Word 2000 – sub documents

I have someone who created a 200 page document and then inserted a 63 page sub document in the middle of her 200pg doc. My question (actually her question) or problem is where she has inserted her “sub-document” it is picking up the numbering from the 200pg original doc. So say the “sub-document” gets inserted into pg 20 of the “original document” it starts numbering the “63 page sub-document” at page 21 instead of page 1. Does anyone know how to stop the numbering of the inserted document? Has anyone ever created a “sub document” in Word?
