MS Word Prints Extra Space at the Top of Page

Hi,

Without my doing anything (that I know of) Word (Office 2003 running in XP) has started printing about a 1/2 inch of blank space at the top of pages. Here’s what I know:
1/ Extra space appears only on odd numbered pages,
2/ Extra space is not limited to a particular document–occurs with any Word document,
3/ This does not occur when printing from other applications,
4/ The extra space does not appear on screen in print view, and
5/ There is nothing unusual in the default page setup–margins, gutter, etc. all what I would expect.

Can anyone suggest other things to check, possible solutions?
