MS word with vanished menu bar……

Hello…
My friend’s MS Word 2000 has suddenly had it’s main menu bar (the one with ‘File,Edit,Format,etc..’)gone out of sight. Other MS Office applications in his computer don’t have this problem.I tried reinstalling MS Office 2000 in his computerbut the problem still persist. Please help us.Thank you…..
