MSX Brick backup problem with Arcserv

My client has following problem
Environment- Win2K, MSX 2K, ArcServe 2K,NT. All backups are work incl. Win2K from NT except MS Exchange brick level backup from ARCSERV 2K. From Arcserve the other server, file backups are working. Only brick level not working. Arcserv has been re-installed and patches downloaded but no help.
