Multiple Alarms In Outlook

I have access to several shared calendars in Outlook. Into these calendars I book calls for various people and would like some way of setting the reminder function to notify not only the person in question but also myself 30mins before the agreed appointment time.
I don’t want to go through the hassel of creating a meeting or setting a task inorder to do this as it’s too tie consuming. Anyone got any ideas of a a way to do this?
