Need Tips on Access Subforms

I am creating a simple database in Access to log in weekly tasks to be printed for weekly meetings. I would like to use a table containing general information of the user and a form to get week ending date. I wan to use a subform to get actual task detail so that the user does not have to enter the week ending date for each task for that week. I have already created both tables and both forms and added the subform to the main form. The first (week) form and subform (tasks) work good. When I go to the second record(week) on the main form and the first new record(task) on the subform, it becomes the same first record(task) of the previous main(week)subform. I hope this explains my dilemma. Please let me know how to fix this or any suggestions on a better way.
