New folder icon in Windows explorer.

While using Windows XP explorer I often need to create a new folder. It seems the fastest way to do this is to right click your mouse and then select new and then select folder from the pop-up list. However when using Windows applications in the file window you are able to click an icon called new folder to do this. Can this also be done in Explorer?
