New Printer Problem

I replaced my old printer with a HP 3820. When I use a certain application to print medical scripts my Dr Details do not print out on the script where they did previously with the old printer. I am using Win 98 se. My partner has the same problem and the same new prinetr but he upgraded to Win XP and now it works fine. Is there anyone who may know how to solve this problem without upgrading to XP?
