No default Mail Client

When I boot up my computer (after installing New Norton) I get a window that says “Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fullfil the messaging request. Go to Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client”. I always click ok and my mail comes in, etc. But what is this window and how can I get rid of it? I have Windows XP
