I have MSN and Yahoo installed on my PC and have the following problem.
I have had MSN and yahoo installed and used both for a while with no problems. However, recently i have installed yahoo 5.5 and this following now happens:
I have NAV and also Norton firewall 2002 installed and when they are enabled i can’t activate certain hyperlinks within my broswer which is I.E. 6 Service Pack 1.
I open my university webmail and when i click to open e-mails it won’t allow me to open these. It also does not like certain drop down menus which i believe may be created in Java of some description.
When i disable the firewall and NAV i can then see the drop down java menus and also enter and open my e-mails.
I have uninstalled yahoo and went backto previous version. Uninstalled and re-installed new version etc all to no avail. I have also unistalled and re-installed I.E. 6 again to no avail.
Anyone throw any light on this subject very much appreicated.
