Norton Problems

I am using Norton AntiVirus on one computer running Windows XP Pro. I have three user profiles on the machine. The problem is that when one user is logged on and Norton is running, and then the fast user switching option is used to switch to another user, the shield comes up in that taskbar with an exclamation mark over it. Shouldn’t this program be able to run under multiple profiles?
