Office 2000 programs choking on server

by hettymedia . Updated 23 years, 9 months ago

My office has Win 2000 Professional. My desktop has no problem running Office 2000 applications. The problem is when my boss tries to do something on the server. For example, while I am in Access 2000 all day, he cannot run a report or query on the server. He cannot print out of Excel 2000 without an error message regarding memory. We have plenty of hardware power. We do NOT have Internet access, so nothing unauthorized is coming in. I know enough to stay within the forms of Access. I am sure nothing has been added or taken away since these problems started showing up two weeks ago. No known errors with hardware in Device Manager. If there’s something wrong with the server or the software on the server, why am I not having problems with Office 2000 programs? Where do we start with troubleshooting the software? Do we reinstall Office 2000?
