office 97 toolbar not unhiding

I have a win95 system just built it, it is running 95, office 97, abra, sophos av, trackit remote. The office tool bar is set to auto hide and always on top. The tool bar will not always unhide, if you try it again later in the day it will work.
Is it system resources causing a lag (p450, 128 ram)?
No other programs are running in the background other than track-it remote and sophos anti virus.
