Outlook 97 has stopped working on a PC on our P2P network of 8 clients. When opening up Outlook, mapisp32.exe eats up the resources (>97%). It is hard to end the task and even when ended, the PC is sluggish with mapisp32 still eating up reources. I have done some research regarding this and not found very much. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OL97 to no avail and renamed mapisp32 and other suggested files to assure thier reinstallation.
Some research indicates that bad e-mail in the .pst file causes this. But, if this is the case, how do I get to the root of the problem. I would prefer keeping the history in the .pst file if possible.
All and any suggestions will be welcomed!!
