Optical mouse trouble

Anyone that could help,

I have a wireless optical desktop pro(mouse and keyboard) and the mouse use to work and now it has stopped working. the keyboard works great. i have reloaded the program and drivers. the wireless reader doesnt recognize the mouse, but in the mouse properties it is recognized. if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
