I would be happy to hear from members on tips to deal effectively when it comes to political issues in a company. You are in a scenario where you as a manager are one of those who gives great importance to ethics and corporate values. You would tend to get appalled when some people manage to get away despite their wrongful actions just by manipulating people. While you are working hard and spending long hours in office to get a project and the team (including some lateral movements due to an organizational restructure), back in shape and you find on the other hand, there a couple of local managers from different departments who are constantly trying to create an indirect pressure on you. (back-biting etc) Lets assume the boss (who’s overseas as this is an MNC) had been made aware of this already due to the distraction that such events cause. My question is what should be the other steps one should take to deal effectively in such situations especially when these individuals have imaginary issues which they don’t want to directly talk to you about ?
