Outlook 03 Cant Connect to Exchange Srv

I open outlook 2003 and it wont connect to the exchange server. Stays offline. I’m on the network, all drives are mapped. I can get into my Term Server, just not exchange

I have a host file with the server in it
I can ping the server by name and IP
I tried resolving by IP – No Good
I am connected to the network
Any ideas ??
