Outlook 2000 and attachments prompt

When using Outlook 2000 and opening attachment always get a prompt whether to open or save as. I have an end-user that unchecked the box that says “Always ask before opening this type of file”. Now he wants that prompt back when he opens an attachment. Does anyone know a way that I can reset it.
