Outlook 2000 – Filters.txt editing?

When I edit the filters.txt file and test it, my new edits are not taken into consideration in filtering junk mail and adult content mail in Outlook.

Is there some way to reset this file? I am not entirely sure if this is the file that is actually used when Outlook filters the content.

Any help would be appreciated.
