Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003

I am running outlook 2002, but I bought an outlook 2003 copy. I am trying to configure, but I am getting an error message that “outlook must be online”. If I uninstall 2003 and reinstall 2002, everything works fine. Is there a known issue with 2003 not working with an existing 2002 setup.
