Outlook 2002 hangs w/email attachment

Outlook is hanging when I try to access any emails with attachments. This is a new problem. I have been using this laptop for 6 months and it has worked great. I have moved the PST file to another PC which is not part of the domain and it comes up fine. I have unloaded norton services and this does not seem to make a difference. One curious note. I noticed that there was an email with no from or subject. I used my IPAQ and activesync to sync with and delete the wierd email and then rebooted my computer. It did not solve the problem.
