OUTLOOK 2002-Recurring mtg. not cancled

If a meeting that is designated as “Recurring” is canceled by the author, it can not be canceled by other attendees when they accept the cancel notification. They can accept the cancellation, but it is not removed from their calendar.

A search of this problem in the MS knowledge base points to SP1, however, there is no mention of it in the ?documentation? for SP1; and we already have SP1 installed anyway.

Configuration:
Server is Exchange 5.5
Users are all XP, with SP 2.
Office XP, with Outlook 2002.
