Outlook 2002 rules disabled by itself

Hi,
just wondering if anyone has an idea how to stop outlook 2002 from disabling rules by itself? The rule in question is just sending sent items to an imap folder. I’ve read on several articles about outlook disabling rules without warning when there’s a network disruption but no further details or solution was given. We have office service pack 3 installed as well. Can someone help? Thanks!
