Outlook 2003 and attachments

Hello all. I have recently upgraded several work stations to Outlook 2003 from XP. Lately I have been noticing some weird things. One thing I need to resolve post haste is what Outlook is doing with image attachments. Rather than the JPEG coming through, the recipient gets a “imagename”.dat file. This is not the infamous winmail.dat issue. This is different. It does not happen all the time but it is becoming more than annoying. Can any of you out there offer any suggestions or registry hacks?
