Outlook 2003 Archive problem

by trisol . Updated 19 years, 6 months ago

When attempting to archive folders in Outlook 2003 connected to SBS2003 Exchange some files fail to be archived. The set-up of the folders is as follows:

OEM
|—Folder1
|—Folder2
|—Folder3
|—Folder4
|—Folder5

The OEM folder is located under the root of my personal folders. When archiving I have selected the OEM folder and set the required “older than” date, ticked “include subfolders” and chosen to include folders marked as do not archive. Folder 1 archives correct, Folder 2 – no files are archived even though they meet the criteria, Folder 3 & 4 correct, Folder 5 fails????

I have also set the individual folder properties to enable archiving with default settings but this also fails to have any effect.

There is no difference in any of the Folder’s configuration apart from the name i.e. they all host email messages moved as a result of rules.

Thanks to anyone who replies.

Regards,

Mark
