Outlook and Exchange server

We store all outlook files and folders on the users harddrives. And they are stored in the personal folders. Exchange 7.0 on an NT server, Outlook 97. Ok now one of the directors wants to share his calender with his sec. I have found numerous ways to share folders files ect. on MS and Technet but they have to be on the server or stored in the user mailbox not the personal folder. I can copy the calender to the main mailbox calender and let the sec. see and add to it but can not sync. it and save it so the director can see the changes.
