OUTLOOK -delete if From is a first name

by jlhiowa . Updated 21 years, 2 months ago

Hi. I need help with Outlook 2000. How can I set up the Rules Wizard (or any other method) to delete e-mails when From shows only a last name.

Example: From Jane Doe is fine, but From Jane would be deleted.

I am trying to do this because I have a user with spam emails showing only a first name in the From field. Her business related emails all have a first and last name.
Yes I’ve warned her that this will easily have the potential to delete valid e-mails. And I’ll make sure and emphasize this again before I put on the Rule.

Thanks!
