I know this is not directly an office product but, I thought it would be close enough.
I work for an ISP and we recently have been coming into a problem with outlook express 5/6.
The problem is that our users are not able to delete their messages out of their inbox’s?????
They get an error message that says
***ERROR unable to delete file***
I have tried all the methods that I can think of in order to delete the messages, but I still remain unsucessful.
I’m not sure what would cause this, but latley it has been becoming a common problem. I have everyone updated to ver. 6, doesn’t fix. Reboot, same thing. I’m not sure if somehow the .dbx files some how got a read only attribute associated with them? Virus?
If anyone could please give me some insight on this issue it would not go unappreciated.
