Outlook express:SMTP Port: 0: 0x800c0131

Hello.

Some of my POP3 users have experienced the following error while trying to send a message in Outlook Express 6.0.

Unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP Port: 0 Secure: No [SSL] Error: 0x800c0131

The message is stored in Outbox and remains there. If you SEND/RECEIVE you get the above error message.

If I restart the PC and log in then the message AUTOMATICALLY is send.

I found an article here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;233264

Microsoft suggests to rename the folders.dbx file folders.old and the outlook Express will recreate it.

I did it, but I still have the same problem. But now the user does not have to restart the PC. He must go to OUTBOX, open the message and press the SEND button again. The message will leave without problems.

Any ideas what is going on. The mailbox of those users is quite big (500-700 MB).

Thank you in advance.
