Outlook Meeting Requests

I have a user who , when using corporate workgroup, can’t receive meeting requests. He receives them as text messages. If he uses an internet mail via pop he receives the meeting requests. Is there anything we can do to allow him to receive meeting requests in corporate workgroup for exchange?
