OUTLOOK.exe Has Generated Errors and wil

After launching Outlook 2000 without error in a corporate LAN utilizing Exchange Server, I choose to format a New Message. When I attempt to choose CONTACTS via the TO button, and subsequent SELECT NAMES box, all of a sudden I receive OUTLOOK.EXE HAS GENERATED ERRORS AND WILL BE CLOSED BY WINDOWS.

GLOBAL ADDRESS LIST, ALL GROUPS, ALL USERS, etc… offer their address’s without error.

I have executed all of the suggestions from MICROSOFT KNOWLEDGE BASE ARTICLE 297010, but to no avail.

Since all of the address’s reside on the Exchange Server, does this indicate the CONTACTS folder for this User has been corrupted?

I exported the CONTACTS to a pst file and then imported, so that the CONTACTS would also reside on the local drive.Same difference.

Any suggestion? Anybody?
