Pasting text from Internet to Word XP

Something strange is happen to my Word XP. When I copy text from a website, example: from a TechRepublic Newsletter received in my Yahoo mail account, and paste into a blank Word’s document, it all OK, but when I copy this text directly from TechRepublic website (and others, this is only an example) and paste into Word XP, the pasted text is always in Bold font and the Bold button is no active. This is only happen with Word XP. Anybody have an idea of what happen here? May be I have Gremlings inside my computer or what?
