PC Hardware QA

we are primarily a dell shop.

recently – there has been some conversation regarding switching vendors. one name mentioned is micron.

in the past – someone had mentioned to me that microns did not enforce QA, and tended to build their machinesfrom end-lot or odd-lot parts (which is how they kept them so cheap). does anyone know if this is true? is there somewhere where this information is published?
