POP3

Where do I start…OK…here goes.

I have a GroupWise system. The GWIA is configured for POP3 on port 110. I also have a Spam Filter server. We are using Surf Control E-Mail filter. I have a cable router. I have the following ports configured: 110 is open and directed to the GWIA server. 25 is open and directed to the Surf Control server.

Inside the firewall I need to set incoming and outgoing server to GWIA and it works in both directions. Outside the firewall I cannot even log in. I think I need to open port 25 to the GWIA server – but when I do that, POP3 still does not work AND then my company cannot send mail. They can receive but not send.

High point value…really need to resolve. Any help is appreciated.
