Power point slide shows will not open in Outlook Express

I am running XP media edition, and am having a hard time with Outlook Express and PPS. Clicking on the download button gives me a message that states there is no file associated with the action requested. However, it is there, as I can view it in Hotmail or Cogeco mail. Is there any way I can fix this problem?
